Last week, Amazon launched a new requester website aimed to help businesses find solutions partners.

Last week, the team at Amazon Mechanical Turk launched a new website aimed at requesters. The new site features partners who are able to integrate and provide solutions for requesters new to the MTurk platform. Getting started with Mechanical Turk can be a bit of a challenge for a requester who has little experience dealing with micro-task style work. There are a number of things that increase a requester’s chance of succeeding: a pre-qualified group of workers, quality control systems, a tiered worker structure, knowledge of hit design and a tight integration are among the most important. Amazon’s new site is designed to bring forward solutions partners who are able to help requesters start with these important assets from the start. From integration partners to application providers, a number of companies are featured on the new website in an effort to quickly bring mechanical turk success to requesters of all sizes.

I am happy to say that Scalable Workforce is one of the companies Amazon chose to feature on the new site. While a relative newcomer to the business services arena, we have been working with the folks at Mechanical Turk for close to two years. Scalable Workforce was originally an application designed internally to serve the needs of our sister company. After talking with several partners about the application, we realized that businesses were in need of services very similar to those which we built into our internal Scalable Workforce tool. We look forward to learning more about and servicing the needs of all MTurk requesters. Please contact our sales team to discuss your mechanical turk project. We are happy to help!
